Josh Haynes , a Memphis native,  has been playing  the Metro area since the age of 16.
His musical influences include Pink Floyd, Rush, AC/DC ,Yes, Van Halen, The Beatles and Deep Purple.  Having started as a drummer and moving to keyboards , Josh settled in on guitar at age 12. His main role is as lead guitarist but also provides keyboards and vocals. ASide from PULSE,  Josh also performs in another group called the Originals and has had the privilege of performing with Laryy Raspberry of the Gentrys, Jimi Jamison of Survivor, Joey Molland of Badfinger, and John Cafferty of the Beaver Brown Band.
